Alexis Reiter is a multi-talented artist creating works in watercolor and acrylic painting, dried florals, lacquer home accessories and handcrafted jewelry. Her extensive commissions are enjoyed throughout Western Canada.

Alexis is highly respected as an expert calligrapher. Regular clients include all levels of government, educational institutions and private individuals. She is an instructor with the Edmonton Public School Board Continuing Education Department, The Lion’s Senior Centre, as well as holding her own private classes. Alexis instructed at the Edmonton First International Folk Art Conference in 1996.

She has studied journaling with Mark Bryan co-author of the "Artist's Way" and "Personal Pathways" on Cortez Island; with Michelle Cassou, author of "Life, Paint and Passion" in San Francisco; and with co-author Stewart Cubley in Edmonton.

Alexis has lived in Saskatchewan, the West Indies, and Singapore and has resided in Edmonton since1972.
She graduated from of the University of Alberta with Bachelor of Education and Sciences Degrees.
Alexis taught junior high school science for 15 years, all the while pursuing her art and instructing calligraphy.
